You will have probably seen lots of graphs on the news lately. I would like you to have a look at the activities below to help you understand information presented on line graphs.

First have a look at the powerpoint on the link below.
Then do one of the varied fluency sheets on link below. There are 3 levels. If in doubt which one to do choose the middle one.
Then do one of the Reasoning & Problem solving sheets on the link below. Again there are 3 levels and if in doubt choose the middle one.

Weekly English Tasks (plus daily reading) 
Here is the new writing unit for the next two weeks. It is organised in a way that you build up to a final piece of writing. Work through the unit systematically and remember this is a two week unit.

Hopefully you will all have completed your cakes and enjoyed eating them. 
This week i would like you to complete an evaluation of your cake. The sheet is on the link below.
If you would like to you could also create your own recipe card for your cake. If I get a few sent to me we could create an Ouse Class cake recipe book.


Computing

It is really important that when you use any technology you do it safely.
Below are links to information and activities to do with using the internet and phones safely. 
You could maybe design a poster encouraging safe use of technology.

Ongoing project
You should have been finding out about the churches in our local area. 
This week I would like you to find out if there are any other places of worship in our area. What religions are represented in our area? Which are not? Where are the nearest places to Carlton where people of the faiths not represented locally can go to worship?
