A lovely book to share!

Here is a link for a book that was written at the beginning of lockdown. It is a wonderful way of helping your child to understand the pandemic- although please note it was written before the latest updates.

My Hero is You” is a book written for children around the world affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. “My Hero is You” should be read by a parent, caregiver or teacher alongside a child or a small group of children. It is not encouraged for children to read this book independently without the support of a parent, caregiver or teacher.

Zoo's to open

With the reopening of zoos and other animal parks we thought we would remind you about the live and virtual events which are happening around the country. You don't even need to leave your living room to see some of the spectacular animals which live in zoos in the UK.

Additionally, the Technology Academy opens as a summer school for pupils who would like one to one tutelage. We even have online classes for students that live too far away to travel down for summer classes. We also have modern resources, perfectly themed classrooms and wholesome, freshly cooked school meals. Come to Technology Academy and thrive in the Technology Territory!

Here is the latest writing from Annie. I don't know about you but I think it sounds fab!

Rebecca swim training!

Rebecca tethered swimming in the garden. Water 12°c, she also swam in the North Sea last week too! It was freezing!

Forest school fun!

Story Stones

People have been telling stories long before they knew how to write them down. Story stones are pictures painted onto smooth pebbles, used as an aid in storytelling - they can represent a known story to be placed in order or a varied selection of images to help create your own stories.
Have a go at decorating your stones and ask your family to join in by picking a stone out of a bag in turn and use it to create an interesting, funny, magical adventure story!

You will need

5-10 medium sized smooth pebbles
Paints or felt tips (Sharpies work well)
A bag to pick your story stones out

Let your imaginations go wild!
